Praise for Tunnels:
5 Stars; Very enjoyable short story, fast paced to hook you from the first few pages. I ‘ve read a few of this authors short stories now and also 2 of his novels ( The broken doll series….. check them out) after falling in love with his descriptive writing style. He is relatively new on the writing scene and a somewhat unknown gem, hopefully he will get his ‘big break’ in the near future
5 Stars; I wasn’t sure what to expect when I began this story, but I can say now, after reading it, I’m glad I wasn’t there!! Real or imagined? You will have to decide, but first, you must brave the ‘Tunnels’!
4 Stars; This story was an enjoyable read. Drew me right in. One can feel the characters because of the touch of realism from everyday people. And the pace was just quick enough to keep you involved. I finished it in one brief sitting.
4 Stars; A great tale of creepy underground supernatural encounters – I am looking forward to this author’s forthcoming anthology!
4 Stars; This was quite a fun read. A nice little ghost story for the Halloween season. There is a pervasive sense of dread throughout the story. It feels claustrophobic at times; only adding to the desperation of the characters. I’m fond of ghost stories and this was one of the best that I have read in quite a while. I look forward to reading more from this author.
4 Stars; Tunnels is navigated by the seemingly talented PJ Blakey-Novis. It displays a beautiful arraignment of devastating atmosphere. It also shoots a healthy dose of fear into the reader’s veins.
